- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits across applications, infrastructure, and networks.
- Implement, configure, and manage security tools, including firewalls, antivirus/anti-malware, IDS/IPS, SIEM systems, and encryption solutions.
- Respond promptly to security incidents—perform forensic analysis, root-cause evaluation, and mitigation strategies, followed by clear reporting.
- Develop, document, and enforce security policies, standards, and incident response procedures.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure network architecture and system design.
- Deliver security awareness and training initiatives for staff on topics like phishing, password hygiene, and data protection.
- Stay abreast of cybersecurity threats, attack trends, and emerging defensive tools or frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or related roles.
- Hands-on experience with security infrastructure: firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM platforms, vulnerability scanners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to think like an adversary to identify hidden threats.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to document findings and train non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance requirements (NIST, ISO, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, CompTIA Security+, OSCP, or GCIH.
- Experience with cloud security platforms and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge in incident response, digital forensics, and threat intelligence.
- Familiarity with MLOps, DevSecOps concepts, or integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in regulatory compliance or auditing workflows
